Blueberry Fizz with Lean on me

With florals both on the nose and palate, undertones of ginger in the aromatics, a home-made blueberry syrup to bring out the earthy fynbos notes and a smooth, rounded gin, the Blueberry Fizz acts as a beautiful seasonal interlude between winter and spring.

Blueberry Fizz with Lean on me


  • 60ml blueberry syrup 
(cook down a punnet of blueberries, with 1/4 cup sugar and juice of a lemon until mashed and syrupy)
  • 60ml ginger beer
  • 60ml Lean On Me gin
  • Mint leaves
  • Sugar, to rim the glass
  • Lemon wedge to garnish
  1. Rim the glass with lemon and sugar.

  2. Muddle the blueberry syrup and mint leaves at the bottom of the glass.

  3. Add a squeeze of lemon and ice.

  4. Add your ginger beer using an upside down spoon to create layers.

  5. Add your Lean On Me Gin in the same way.

  6. Garnish and serve!
